Caroline Creba Fine Jewellery in Knowle and migraine eyewear brand Aura Clarity in Elmdon are on Small Business Saturday's 2026 list of favourite UK businesses.

A jewellery showroom that opened in Knowle a year ago has been named one of the Nation’s Favourite Businesses for 2026. The list is compiled by the Small Business Saturday UK campaign.

It is one of two businesses from Solihull borough on this year’s list. The other is Aura Clarity, an eyewear brand registered to a postcode in Elmdon ward, which was featured on 27 August.

What the list is

Small Business Saturday is a national campaign, supported by American Express, that champions independent firms. This year’s Small Business Saturday falls on 5 December 2026.

In the run-up, the campaign features one business a day from its list. Its 2026 calendar holds 107 businesses from across the UK, running from 21 August to 5 December.

The campaign says businesses on its list over the past fourteen years have received coverage on its social media and in the press. Some have joined its team at receptions in Downing Street, the House of Lords and the Treasury.

The Knowle showroom

Caroline Creba opened her showroom to the public on 19 September 2025. It is in a restored listed building on Knowle High Street, according to the National Association of Jewellers’ announcement of the opening.

“Opening a showroom in Knowle feels incredibly personal for me,” she said at the time. “It’s where I grew up, and after more than a decade working and living in London, I’ve returned to build both my family life and my business here.”

The business’s Small Business Saturday entry describes an independent bespoke jewellery studio. Its work includes:

  • engagement rings
  • redesigns of inherited jewellery
  • bespoke commissions
  • permanent jewellery fittings

The entry credits Caroline Creba with 25 years of industry experience. Pieces are made at the business’s workshop in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, according to its website. The company, Caroline Creba Fine Jewellery Ltd, was incorporated in May 2025 and is listed as active at Companies House.

The Elmdon eyewear brand

Aura Clarity makes glasses for people living with migraine, light sensitivity and photophobia. Its lenses use FL-41 tint technology.

Its Small Business Saturday entry says the brand was founded by Misba Yousaf, a biomedical scientist who has chronic migraine herself. The entry also highlights the brand’s work raising awareness of invisible disabilities. More is on Aura Clarity’s website.
