Shirley estate agent Partridge Homes is a finalist in three UK Small Business Awards categories, including one for its MD, months before its 20th birthday.

Partridge Homes, the family-run estate and lettings agency with an office on Haslucks Green Road in Shirley, has reached the final in three categories of The UK Small Business Awards.

The business is shortlisted for Best Real Estate Business and Best Customer Service, and its managing director, Charlotte Partridge, is a finalist for Female Entrepreneur of the Year.

The finals come a few months before the agency turns 20. It opened in February 2007 and has offices in Shirley and in Yardley, on Church Road, covering sales, lettings and property management across Solihull and south east Birmingham.

Charlotte Partridge said the shortlisting followed a good run for the firm.

“Last year was a fantastic year for Partridge Homes, and this year is proving even stronger. To reach three national finals as we approach our 20th anniversary is a proud moment for our family and the whole team.

“Being shortlisted for Female Entrepreneur of the Year is a personal honour, but everything we achieve comes from a team effort. We have people who care deeply about our clients and take pride in the work they do every day.

Footballers, block management and a bigger team

Alongside ordinary sales and lettings, the agency runs a Sports and Entertainment relocation service, which it says helps professional footballers and other high-profile clients find homes across the region.

It has added to its property management team this year and put money into the systems it uses to keep clients informed. A new arm, Partridge Block Management, is planned to launch in January 2027, shortly before the anniversary.

Why the customer service nomination matters to them

Paul Partridge, the agency’s lettings director, said the customer service place meant the most.

“The awards and finals keep coming, but we never take that recognition for granted. Behind every achievement is a team working hard to look after our clients and deliver the service they deserve.

“The customer service finalist place is particularly meaningful. Whether someone is selling a family home, moving into their first rented property or trusting us with an investment, they want people who communicate, take responsibility and care about the outcome.
