The Coleshill Bar and Grill stands on Station Road at Coleshill, B46 1JZ, about 50 metres from Coleshill Parkway station, which makes it one of the few places in the area you can reach by train and walk to in under a minute. It now trades as The New Coleshill Bar and Grill, and before that it was The Norton. The kitchen is not the steak-house the name suggests: CAMRA's record of the pub says the emphasis is on authentic Indian food, served at lunchtime and in the evening, alongside grill and burger dishes, and it lists no cask ale at all. There is a small beer terrace and lawn at the entrance, a garden, parking and sports television, and the phone is 01675 463730. CAMRA adds a warning worth repeating: the building has many different floor levels and lowish doorways, so tall visitors should take care on a first visit. Note for Solihull readers that Coleshill is in North Warwickshire, not the borough, so the licensing and food inspections are North Warwickshire Borough Council's. Food hygiene is rated 3 out of 5, "generally satisfactory", from an inspection on 30 July 2025, with an even 10 penalty points in each of the three areas: food handling, the premises, and confidence in management.
